Designing Jelly Bean Bunny

Sometimes I just get an idea stuck in my head. A small character that just can’t wait to be created. It started with a tiny doodle at the corner of a page and I knew I needed to grab my hook and some yarn and start creating.

I named him Jelly Bean Bunny because the shape of the body reminded me a little bit of the shape of a jelly bean.

I’ve also played around with some different colours for Jelly Bean Bunny.

And turned this bunny into a bag charm.

I tried to keep the pattern as simple as possible. Not everything went to plan. The design that became the ears originally started life as the pattern for the legs. I’m hoping to share the finished pattern soon so you can make your very own Jelly Bean Bunny.
